On disregarding red flags about Smith
“Every time I would go to Nikko’s place, there would be a camera and a tripod in front of the bed at all times. You know how you get that gut feeling? I didn’t listen to my gut instinct. I kind of just shoved it to the side.”
On being shocked about having to film more scenes for the sex tape
“We had to say something to present it. … And then once we did the deal with Vivid, there [were] holes. There was a marketing plan. There was this; there was that. All of that was out of my control at that point. After you sign on the dotted line. … We did film that initially ourselves. … After we signed, they said we need more footage for us to sell a tape. So at that point, they’re like, ‘you’ve gotta go back in and give us more footage.’ I’m like, ‘Wait, what?!’ I didn’t know all of this. I didn’t know I had to do all of this. I’ve never done it before so I didn’t know. But after this point, I’ve signed on the dotted line, so I’m obligated.”
On making money from the tape
“I get a check every quarter for the rest of my life.”
