In another blow to embattled comedian Bill Cosby, a bronze statue erected at Disney World in his honor has been removed. The statue, which was located in an area of Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s theme park that pays tribute to TV legends, was removed last night.
The statue was located in the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza. Other statues on display include such TV legends as Lucille Ball, Dick Clark, Oprah Winfrey, Andy Griffith and of course Walt Disney. There was no official statement issued from the Disney Corporation but an online petition had been circulating for months demanding the removal.
