Bobby Brown and his wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, welcomed their new baby girl at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles Saturday. The New Edition front man and Etheredge-Brown married in 2012. The newborn is Etheredge’s second child, joining the couple’s five-year-old son Cassius. This is Brown’s sixth child.
In May, Brown and Etheredge hosted a co-ed baby shower at their Southern California home. “Love……” Bobby captioned on Instagram while posing with his family in the backyard. “My Lady and Baby.” Alicia added, “#Bestday #Beautiful #Blessed #Family #Thankfulness #babyshower.”
The arrival of his new baby girl is certainly a reason to rejoice. Still, the medical condition of his daughter with the late-Whitney Houston continues to weigh heavily on him as well as his extended family and friends. On June 24, Bobbi Kristina Brown was moved to hospice care as her condition continued to “deteriorate.”
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” Pat Houston told E! News of her move. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”
On January 31, 2015, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in the bathtub of a condo she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon in Roswell, Georgia. She was placed in a medically-induced coma for nearly five months and has received round-the-clock care ever since.
