Atlanta police arrested Patricia Todd for a despicable crime this past Tuesday. According to police, the Atlanta mother shot her 4-year-old son in the back. The child is in critical condition at a local hospital. There was no reason given as to why the mother would shot the toddler, but according to neighbors she was hysterical when police arrived. Police searched the home and recovered the gun used to shoot the child and removed several bags of evidence.
Todd made her first appearance in court Wednesday and has been charged with aggravated assault, cruelty to children and tampering with evidence; she waived her right to appear before a judge.
