Corey “C-Murder” Miller was part of the rap Group TRU. On January 12, 2002 after leaving a club in Harvey, Louisiana, Miller got into a fight and killed Steve Thomas, 16, because of a free-style rap battle. After two trials, Miller was sentenced to life in prison.
