
A man in New Jersey broke into a home and decided to make himself at home while the family was still there. According to ABC 7 in New Jersey, Jason Hubbard walked into the home after a family member left the door open.
He then went upstairs and hid under a under a bed. Five days later, the homeowner heard a noise and found Hubbard lying under his daughter’s bed. The homeowner realized that it was his daughter’s ex-boyfriend, whom she dated five years ago. The homeowner’s daughter no longer stays with the family.
Hubbard attempted to run, but the homeowner’s 28-year-old son held him until police arrived. Apparently, he didn’t eat during his days under the bed and survived on a cup of water.
Hubbard may have fallen on hard times and didn’t have a place to stay. He was arrested by police and charged with burglary and theft of electricity.
