This summer, Janelle Monae and her Wondaland Records crew will be treating fans in eight cities to a secret free concert.

The Eephus Tour Powered by Toyota will kick off in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Aug. 12 and will conclude in Atlanta on Aug. 31. Wondaland Records founder Monae will not only be hitting the stage with her energetic and soulful tunes, but the “Yoga” singer is also bringing along her team of artists — Jidenna, Roman GianArthur, Deep Cotton, and St. Beauty — who are using their creative sound and unconventional style to break the mold of today’s popular music.

Jidenna has been making waves in rap with his single, “Classic Man,” featuring GianArthur, which has garnered positive reviews. He recently released the music video for the song’s remix that features one of today’s most gifted hip-hop artists, Kendrick Lamar.

GianArthur will contribute his talents to the tour as a multi-instrumentalist and talented soul singer, while Deep Cotton — which consists of Chuck Lightning and Nate “Rocket” Wonder — will deliver a mix of rock and hip-hop-infused sounds. Additionally, the duo St. Beauty — which includes Alex Belle and Isis Valentino — will bring their unique indie sound to the Eephus tour.

Fans who attend the concert in New York, Washington, Chicago and Atlanta can expect an extra treat. In these cities only, fans will get a chance to win tickets and hear songs from the group’s new compilation EP, Wondaland Presents The Eephus, while sitting in a 2015 Toyota Camry in a drive-in themed setting.

The new album is set to be released on Aug. 14.

Admission to the concerts is invite-only. For a chance to win exclusive tickets to the Eephus tour, sign up at www.wondaland.com or go here to also enter to win tickets and a VIP meet and greet with Wondaland.
