The welcoming post to the city of Compton is a sign that’s a bit dilapidated. But it continues to stand and, in some ways, represents the perseverance of the people of Compton.
Completed in 2011, the Greenleaf Parkway revitalization project included solar accent lighting, a walking trail, and a garden to bring more positive energy to a once blighted area.
