Chris Brown and the Nia Guzman, the mother of his daughter Royalty, have been battling fiercely in court over custody of their young daughter for months and neither side has held back when it comes to bashing the other. But now it appears Brown has had enough of Guzman trashing his name because a report claims that he wants the court to silence Guzman.
As previously reported, Guzman feels Brown is irresponsible and his friends are too dangerous for their daughter to be around. Guzman has filed legal documents asking that Brown only be allowed to see Royalty under supervised visitations. She also reportedly wants full custody of Royalty and wants Brown to pay her $15K a month in child support.
However, Brown has been fighting back against Guzman’s child support request and he also allegedly claimed that she’s irresponsible too because she was previously involved with King Ba, whom Guzman credited on Royalty’s birth certificate. He’s been on the run from police after being accused of forging more than $5K worth of U.S. Treasury checks.
According to TMZ, Brown and Guzman will head to court on Friday to begin work on a formal custody agreement for Royalty. However, sources claim Brown will also ask the judge to place a gag order on Guzman to force her to stop trashing him and his parenting skills on social media and in the news.
However, other sources say Guzman isn’t taking the potential gag order seriously because she only responds to Brown’s public and private digs at her.
Like we’ve said before, this is going to be one messy custody battle and sources say that it will likely last for a long time.
