For Nia Guzman, the mother of Chris Brown’s daughter, Royalty, luck hasn’t been on her side when it comes to the men in her life. Not only is she dealing with a nasty custody battle with Brown over their daughter, but her ex-boyfriend, King Ba, has been on the run from the police since last month. Now, reports have revealed that Ba has finally been arrested.
As previously reported, King Ba was on the run from police after being accused of forging more than $5K worth of U.S. Treasury checks.
However, after weeks of being on the lam, Ba decided to turn himself in to the police after he allegedly saw himself on Crime Stoppers. Ba was arrested on felony forgery charges but was later released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
There’s no word on when Ba will have to go to court, but he definitely hasn’t been helping Guzman’s own court case over custody of Royalty.
Although Guzman had named Ba on Royalty’s birth certificate, when he went on the lam, Guzman told the press that she and Ba were no longer together. And although Guzman had accused Brown of being an unfit parent, claiming that he and his friends were irresponsible, Brown allegedly fired back in court that Guzman was irresponsible as well because her boyfriend was a wanted criminal.
Well, Ba isn’t wanted anymore, but this is still one seriously messy situation.
