Trouble always seems to follow Chris Brown, and this week, besides his custody issues, the troubled singer is facing yet another legal drama after reports revealed that he’s been named in an assault investigation involving a female fan.
According to TMZ, on Monday, Brown and his crew were on his tour bus outside Platinum 84 Gentleman’s Club in Denver, Colorado, where he was shooting a new video with French Montana and Fetty Wap.
The report claims that an unnamed woman who wasn’t part of the production team was inside Brown’s tour bus when she was told about the crew’s strict “no cell phone” rule and was asked to give up her cell phone. When the woman refused, she was allegedly forcefully thrown off of the bus and she claims her phone was broken in the dustup.
The woman went on to file a report for 3rd degree assault and cops reportedly have footage from the strip club showing the woman leaving the bus. Brown and his crew are now “persons of interest” in the investigation and the police want to question them about the alleged assault.
However, Brown hopped on Twitter yesterday and vehemently denied having assaulted the woman.
