On Friday, Sept. 18, songbird Monica Brown invaded Howard University as part of the kick-off festivities for the AT&T Nation’s Football Classic in Washington D.C.
Prior to The Classic… a football game between Howard University and Hampton University, the 34-year-old performed, paying homage to her idol, the late Whitney Houston as well as promote her upcoming project.
As you may recall Monica has been on a promotional tour for her Code Red album which drops later on this week. Late last month Monica revealed nearly a dozen tracks from her upcoming Fall 2015 RCA records release “Code Red” at an intimate listening session held at Patchwerk Studio in Atlanta.
