The Atlanta Falcons are going into Week 5 very strong and the Washington Redskins are definitely going to need the ‘man upstairs’ to pull a win on this NFL Sunday. And by man upstairs, I do mean Washington’s defensive coach because it is going to be next to impossible to stop the league’s best receiver, Julio Jones. The Alabama product has already averaged 38 receptions for 478 yards and four TDs so far this season despite battling toe and hamstring issues. Also, Washington’s secondary have more injuries than a fighter after a Tyson fight.
Despite have so many injuries, Washington will definitely give Atlanta a good game in the Falcon home stadium. Coming off that 90 yard game winning drive against Philadelphia last week, Kirk Cousins does have a bit of an edge coming into this week’s game. Plus, they also have the league’s top-ranked running backs led by Alfred Morris and Matt Jones to give Atlanta a big run for their money. Washington will absolutely have no trouble moving the ball and will in fact keep this game close and interesting. But, to say they’re going to pull off a win is like saying either Trump or Kanye have a real good chance of winning the presidency. Sorry — it’s just not going to happen. If this was the beginning of the season with no injuries, this would be a great game for an upset for the top ranked NFC South team. I can see this game ending in a 31-17 win for Atlanta.
