Since Olivier took over as creative director at Balmain, the fashion house has gained in popularity. Over the past three years, Balmain’s revenue has increased by 15-20 percent, and thanks to Olivier’s snapshots with various celebs, the label has reached 1.3 million followers on Instagram — the first French label to surpass the 1 million mark.
