Kandi Burruss and Blac Chyna hosted one of the most elaborate hair launch parties that I’ve witnessed in a long time. Hair stylist Jodie Rowlands has established herself as the top celebrity stylist in the city with the best virgin hair on the market for sale. The TIME Restaurant and Lounge was swarming with celebrities and beautiful women with the most amazing tresses. Most of the patrons and event attendees were hair clients and fans of the Conceal Virgin Hair line.
Since Kandi Burruss is so far along in her pregnancy, the trip to Jamaica with the rest of the RHOA girls was out (doctors orders on flying). I imagine Kandi hated missing the alleged rekindling of Sheree and Bob Whitfield’s romance in sunny Jamaica, including a surprise pop-up by NeNe and Greg Leakes. But, the great turnout at the launch party was probably the most advisable level of adrenaline rush for Kandi and baby bump.
Blac Chyna played it safe and wore very long sleeves, so “no” — I didn’t have the nerve to ask about the tattoo (yes, I chickened out). She was having such a great time, I didn’t want to be a killjoy (besides her security guard remained close by) so I opted not to get too personal. The drinks were flowing and it’s safe to assume the launch party for Conceal Virgin Hair was successful.
