A part of Chris Brown’s infamy has come from his long history of violence, especially when it involves women. Sadly, Brown’s penchant for fighting hasn’t done anything to help his image and now he’s taken another hit to his character with news that his security team allegedly put a woman in the hospital.
According to TMZ, a 28-year-old woman named Jakaria was hanging out with Brown and his crew on Sunday at the Palms Casino Resort. Brown had a rule that anyone hanging with him had to leave their phone with his security team, which Jakaria did. However, when she got up to leave, she went to pick up her two phones from security and they accused her of trying to steal a phone.
Jakaria claims that Brown’s security grabbed her by the hair and shook her before throwing her to the ground. The guard tried to stomp Jakaria, but a bystander intervened and saved Jakaria from the alleged beating.
Jakaria then went home, but realized she was in much more pain than she expected. She proceeded to go to the hospital and doctors learned that she had whiplash.
Jakaria has since filed a battery report with police and an investigation into the incident is underway.
We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out, but it certainly isn’t doing any good for Brown’s public image.
