Musical genius Teddy Riley’s three daughters, Deja Riley, Taja Riley and Bobbie Riley are following in their daddy’s footsteps and living their musical dreams by creating a girl group called RILEY. They teamed up with 2 Chainz on the first track “£PoundFRANK” from their forthcoming EP titled Bermuda, which is scheduled to drop in 2016.
Currently, Teddy Riley has partnered with Mona Scott-Young to chronicle the joys and perils of fatherhood, grooming his six daughters in the entertainment industry from behind the scenes to become music and industry moguls much like himself. Hopefully, it won’t be long before we get to witness the journey.
Here’s a little history on the group according to their bio from AM PR based out of Los Angeles:
“R I L E Y” is an American girl group made up of 3 sisters, Deja Riley [First Kin], Taja Riley [Middle Child], and Bobbie Riley [Baby Sis]. Born in New Rochelle, NY + raised in Virginia Beach, VA – they bring the East Coast Vibe of music to LA, where the girls currently reside. Brought up in the Entertainment industry by their father; legendary music producer/pioneer of New Jack Swing, Teddy Riley, they’ve always been surrounded by great music, but officially formed as a girl group in 2010. Recently joining forces with a production team, “The Stereotypes” (2014), they started working on their debut music project.”
