Peter confronts Cynthia about their marriage
After Cynthia and Peter’s big blow up in the season premiere, he traveled back to Charlotte and refused to speak to Cynthia for 10 days. Finally, he comes home and tries to have a heart-to-heart with her about their failing marriage. Peter explains that he thinks they’re both to blame for putting their ambitions and careers before their marriage, but Cynthia implies that Peter is more so to blame because he started a business in another state. Cynthia clarifies that they’re both at fault, but she explains that Peter doesn’t make her feel loved and she’s not sure if she’s even still in love with him. Peter is in tears and argues that they have to make things work, but Cynthia claims that divorce might be an option. Cynthia eventually vows to give their marriage one more try, but she says if they still end up being unhappy together, then she will divorce him.
