To the dismay of those who though Kanye West and Kim Kardashian might name their baby boy Easton, the couple went in another direction with naming their first son. It’s Saint West.
The 35-year-old reality star gave birth to Saint on Saturday morning, Dec. 5. But the mother of two and her 38-year-old husband did not name the baby until Sunday evening, E! News reported.
“I don’t have names, which is so crazy,” Kim told E! News in November. “We just started talking about it and that was the last thing for us last time. So I feel confident obviously that we’ll figure it out.”
The Wests had a similar experience when thinking of a name for their first daughter, North West, who’s now 2 years old.
“It’s like the last thing Kanye and I did when North was born,” Kardashian said earlier this year, according to The Daily Caller. “We didn’t name her for like seven days.”
“I felt like it will just come to us,” she added.
Although North doesn’t have a middle name, it has been reported that the couple will give their son the middle name of Kim’s younger brother and late father, “Robert,” as a tribute to the famous attorney. Robert Kardashian died of cancer in 2003.
