PUSH Money Matters event teaches young people financial literacy

The Rainbow PUSH Coalition teamed up with Chevrolet to help shine a light on what it takes to set yourself up for financial success. Over the weekend, they introduced the new Financial Literacy campaign with various workshops that helped educate the youth and Chicago communities. This is a campaign that will help restore financial security in many low-income communities. Soon, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Chevrolet will set out to unveil a comprehensive, national empowerment campaign with the purpose of improving the quality of financial health.

The #PushMoneyMatters campaign helps teach the youth how to pay for college, maintain personal finance and long-term money management.

Many participants left the classes with tools and education on how to develop better regiments and strategies that will help support stronger financial health.
