The 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Award nominations are in. On Wednesday, Dec. 9, SAG-AFTRA executive vice president Gabrielle Carter invited Anna Faris and Anthony Mackie to announce the honors live at the Pacific Design Center in L.A.
This year’s nominees in categories spanning film and TV include Beasts of No Nation’s Idris Elba, “How To Get Away With Murder” star Viola Davis and the hit Netflix series, “Orange Is the New Black.”
The 2016 SAG Awards, which honors some of Hollywood’s biggest names, will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. Meanwhile, final voting begins Wednesday, Dec. 16, and closes Friday, Jan. 29, at noon PST. Television icon Carol Burnett will receive the SAG Life Achievement Award.
