NASP Detroit chapter hosts ’80s themed holiday party with a purpose

Thad Fletcher, partner at Cooke & Bieler, sponsored a portion of the event along with NASP-Detroit. There was an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and giveaways. NASP-Detroit conducted a 50/50 raffle, where 50% of the proceeds went to lucky raffle ticket winner Gayle Prather and the other 50% was donated to their selected charity: Gleaners Food Bank. “Each year NASP-Detroit works hard through our networking, mentoring and philanthropy to make a difference in our Greater Detroit Community and especially for our youth and those less fortunate,” said Kathleen Colin, president of NASP-Detroit. She went on to say, “Our Annual Holiday PartAAAAY at Floods – a renowned Detroit establishment – is always a success because of our love and commitment to our community.”

There were also several other raffle winners where one won a poinsettia plant and the other won a huge gift basked filled with Sanders Chocolate treats.
