Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss’ friendship has been struggling for the last couple of years, but things got worse this season on “The Real Houewsives of Atlanta” when Burruss’ husband, Todd Tucker, revealed that Parks’ owed him money from an unreleased 2013 fitness DVD that he produced. In the latest episode of “RHOA,” Tucker and Parks finally set down to resolve their issues and finish up the project. However, troubled brewed online after Burruss went on Instagram and defended her husband against Parks and angry fans. Now, Parks is opening up and sharing her side of the drama.
During the episode, ,Tucker and Parks met up to discuss the incomplete DVD. Parks agreed that she’d pay Tucker the last $8,000 that she owed him for the DVD if he’d finally complete it for her. However, she also bashed him in her confessional, claiming that he was desperate for her money because his L.A. ventures had dried up and his so-called allowances from Burruss weren’t cutting it anymore.
After the show aired, Burruss went on Instagram and defended her husband.
“Let me just clear up something for y’all. Todd & Phaedra talked years ago when she was pregnant with Dylan about him helping her with production for her pregnancy DVD. He was doing it as a friend because he said they could do it way cheaper than the company she worked with on her 1st workout DVD. She approved the budget & she paid the first 2 payments but never paid the third for whatever reason. This was well before Apollo went to jail. Todd sent final invoice emails but there was just excuses & no payment. I told him not to worry about it & give her time. But now years have passed. You know how it is when you have a friend who owes you money but they come around with new s— all the time but never mentions your money… That’s why he was irritated,” Burruss wrote.
Well, Parks didn’t take the issue lying down either and she responded to the matter in her latest Bravo blog. Read what Parks had to say after the cut.
