No one likes to see a bad picture of themselves. Especially one that will potentially be seen by thousands of strangers. And despite what some might believe, that sentiment holds true for fugitives on the run from the law as well.
With that said, you can kind of understand the plight of Donald Pugh.
Though currently fleeing authorities in Lima, Ohio, Pugh, 45, caught a glimpse of the city’s police department Facebook post with an old mug shot and decided to text them a picture he liked better.
“Here is a better photo, that one is terrible,” Pugh wrote in the text to authorities.
Authorities were happy to grant Pugh’s wish and went back to update their post along with the caption, “This photo was sent to us by Mr. Pugh himself. We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges.”
