K. Michelle definitely has switched things up a bit, starting season two of her reality series “K. Michelle – My Life,” which debuted Monday night on VH1. In an intimate setting at the M Bar in Atlanta, the “Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart” singer revealed details of her upcoming album, tour, new business launch and shared three new songs from her album. Joined by Joseline Hernandez, whom K. Michelle referred to as “her wife,” K. also shared how she has cleaned house of every single person that has been part of her life for the past year.
New friends, a new look, a new album: does that mean we will get a new sound? Michelle also revealed how she refuses to be pigeon holed into any category and she chose to do things her way when it comes to the songs she sings and the genre of musical audiences she may choose to appeal to at the time.
Did you know Michelle got a full scholarship for yodeling? Really? Leave it to Michelle to find out you can get a scholarship for college in that category. We probably would all agree if it’s something new and different to be discovered, Michelle would be the one to deliver it to the masses.
There was a candid Q-and-A discussion by Shamea Morton and Michelle answering questions submitted by the audience. When asked how Michelle felt about being a role model to the young girls, she responded she would like to be a role model only in reference to being a survivor. Being strong and able to have conquered a lot of obstacles is really the only way she would like to be a role model.
K. Michelle admits she exhibits questionable behavior at times and then feels ashamed when young girls are in her DM saying how much they admire and love her. She admitted to knowing this may not be the proper example all the time.
