Over 31K people have signed a petition urging BBC to have Snoop Dogg narrate the network’s ever so popular “Planet Earth.” The ingenious idea came after Snoop recorded voiceover footage for a nature documentary for “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” last March.

One viewer in specific, Kelly Ooten, watched the clip and enjoyed Snoop’s voice so much that she launched a Change.org petition asking “Planet Earth” to hire him earlier this month. “Snoop Dogg has narrated some Planet Earth in the past, but yo we need him to narrate full episodes,” wrote Ooten. “Sign the petition if you agree.”

The recording artist himself appears to be feeling the idea, tweeting: “who made this ?? ?? lets get this sh*t going . who want more #PlizzanetEarth ?!”

According to the Nebraska resident’s petition, once it garnered 25K signatures, the call to action would be sent to Discovery Communications and Animal Planet. Now that she’s hit the mark, it’s a waiting game.
