For months now, NeNe Leakes has been on a forgiveness spree, patching up her broken friendships with nearly all of her former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” enemies. Her latest peace treaty was with longtime enemy, Kenya Moore, who recently celebrated her birthday alongside the “RHOA” vet. However, it looks like the gloves are off, once again, because Leakes recently blasted Moore online over their mutual friend, Cynthia Bailey.
The drama all started on last night’s episode, during which the ladies all flew to Jamaica, where Bailey filmed her first eyewear commercial. During the trip, Bailey brought NeNe and Gregg Leakes along and revealed to the cast that she and Leakes are friends again. When their co-stars tried to tell Leakes that Bailey and Moore became BFFs after she and Bailey fell out, Leakes claimed that Moore could never take her place in Bailey’s life. Even Bailey told the ladies that Moore is not her best friend, and that she’s still getting to know Moore.
Of course, when Moore found out, she confronted Bailey and said that she felt betrayed. She also claimed that Bailey’s renewed friendship with Leakes wouldn’t go far because Leakes would stab Bailey in the back like’s done in the past.
Well, after the scene aired, Leakes hopped on Instagram and vehemently denied Moore’s claims that she’d ever betrayed a friend.
“SAY WHAT! YOU CALLING ME A BACKSTABBER?? I don’t address issues usually but this Backstabber comment coming from Miss Twirl herself @thekenyamoore must be address [sic] NOW! I challenge you to ask anyone I have ever been friends with and those I am currently friends with and that includes you asking @kimzolciakbiermann @shereewhitfield @CynthiaBailey10 etc the one thing they will all say about me is that I am a fun girl and I have a heart! In order to back stab a person you have to intentionally set out to do harm to someone and that ain’t me! When and if we fall out! I will read you, fall out and move on! You don’t have to worry about me because I’m not worrying about you. With that said, I have been back stabbed by those I loved, cared for and supported! I’am [sic] not in the business of harming people and I am not evil. NOW TWIRL ON THAT,” Leakes captioned the photo.
