
The Carolina Panthers players have rhythm. Cam Newton put the Atlanta dance, the ‘Dab,’ on the world map. It’s the height of excitement in anticipation of this Sunday’s 50th Super Bowl which will be held in Santa Clara, California.
During the filming of the commercial for the 2016 GMC Yukon Denali, Carolina Panthers’ cornerback Josh Norman and running back Jonathan Stewart, show off their swag. Stewart was spotted doing the popular dance, “Hit Dem Folk,” while Norman was being the ultimate gentleman and greets with a bow.
GMC finds itself in the unique position of being the official vehicle of both championship teams: the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers. To celebrate their epic match-up this weekend, GMC’s new digital video ad campaign gives fans an inside glimpse of Broncos’ and Panthers’ players while inside the 2016 GMC Sierra Denali HD and Yukon Denali. These exclusive videos go live on gmc.com and GMC social channels on February 4 leading up to the big game.
“We were excited that both of our sponsored teams survived the gauntlet of the playoffs to make it to the big game,” Tony DiSalle, U.S. Vice President of Buick and GMC Marketing says in a statement to press. “We hope our digital ad campaign will offer fans a unique look into these great players’ mindsets and what makes them so driven.”
In the clip, the football stars utilize tablets to read questions fans posted to GMC’s Twitter and Facebook pages. Through the available in-vehicle 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity, the players respond to questions around how they get ready for the big game, what motivates them, and their perspective on what it takes to be the best.
