On Thursday, Jan. 28. hip-hop recording artist A$AP Ferg came through Atlanta for the anticipated #WhenitsDarkOut tour stop with G-Eazy. Just hours before the sold out concert, the Harlem rapper stopped by well-known streetwear boutique WishATL for an exclusive meet and greet with his cult-like fan base. The event was presented by Peach Castle, a concert promotion company founded by notable branding guru Desmond Attmore.
“Peach Castle is a new brand I created to bring one-of-a-kind events and concerts to the Atlanta market. There are so many concert promotion or event planning companies in Atlanta, but to me, everyone is doing the same thing. No one is pushing the limit or taking things to the next level. We are also the first concert event driven brand that has a major focus on quality content,” he said.
Desmond launched Peach Castle a little over a year ago and has achieved much success since then. Although his company is Atlanta-based, he has future plans to throw events on a national scale and transition his series of pop-up shops and meet and greets into a small niche music festival.
Currently, Desmond and the rest of his team are gearing up for a major concert and photo exhibit at SXSW 2016 in Austin, Texas.
