Why did you decide to go natural?

My family; because my mom was natural and my dad had locks, so they both kind of influenced me.

Two favorite styles for natural hair.

Back in a ponytail or either just down.

What are your favorite three products for your hair?

Coconut, olive oil, I just use oils in my hair and shea butter.

Two emotions you felt while going natural?

Free and happy.

How do you take care of your hair?

I basically just wash it twice a week and then I condition it like once a month and then just oil it.

Overall benefits to going natural?

Overall benefits that you don’t have to do too much with it and you also have even when I had my Afro I was able to do a lot with it. You can straighten it, you can wear it in an afro. You can do a whole bunch of different styles, and even [with] my locs the benefits of having them is that you don’t really have to mess with them.

Has anyone ever asked to touch your natural hair?

Always, actually they don’t ask they usually just touch. Depends on the person, irritated … but if it’s somebody that I know you know and if they genuinely ask I’m usually down for it, it’ll be fine.

What are your social media handles?
