Kendrick Lamar receives key to the city of Compton

On Feb. 13, Kendrick Lamar received the key to Compton, California. Held at Compton’s City Hall the event featured poetry, dance, and musical selections from kids who attend schools in the surrounding areas. Lamar was recently nominated for 11 Grammy Awards for his album, To Pimp a Butterfly.
