Blac Chyna proved she had one of the best Valentine’s Day celebrations this week when she posted all of the luxurious gifts that she’d received from her new boyfriend, Rob Kardashian, for the romantic holiday. However, one major detail that she failed to reveal is how much Rob spent on her. But a new report reveals that Rob spent a whopping 5-figure amount on one gift alone.

As previously reported, Rob bought Chyna a gigantic bouquet of roses, as well as a giant painting that Rob had done of her that features engravings of the lyrics to their favorite song, John Legend’s “The Beginning.”

According to media reports, the artist behind the large portrait is Tonia Calderon, who Rob reportedly met through mutual friends a long while ago.

Sources say that Rob gave Calderon $35K to do the wall-sized piece of art, which reportedly took two days to complete. The sources say Calderon has done artwork for the likes of Dr. Dre, Lady Gaga and Diddy, who commissioned Calderon to do a similar portrait of the late Notorious B.I.G.

With a celebrity clientele as high-profile as that, it’s understandable that Calderon would be able to charge at least 5-figures for a piece. However, if you’re still wondering exactly what makes the piece worth $35K, it’s because sources say Calderon covered the song lyrics in the portrait in diamond dust.

Not only does the diamond dust add a luxurious element of shimmer to the portrait, but it also made the portrait quite costly to make because sources say the diamond dust, which is the residue that’s left behind after diamonds are cut, can cost up to $50 for a single ounce of the powder.

Clearly, money was of no concern to Rob when it came to spoiling his new girlfriend for their first Valentine’s Day together.
