When Donald Trump announced his candidacy for the 2016 presidential race, we expected this to be a different type of campaign. Before his foray into politics, Trump was well-known for his sarcasm and extreme, often distasteful comments. Speculation was made on how much the TV personality would have to change in order to be taken seriously as a viable Republican candidate for president. To the surprise of some, Trump has remained true to form with his acerbic wit and, personal insults and downright inappropriate commentary. Instead of working to box him out of the race, Trump’s inappropriate language and behavior worked in his favor as he has consistently been the front-runner in the GOP race.

It has to be a sign of the times that Trump has been able to get away with sound bites that would result in most CEOs being given their walking papers, but instead of alienating his supporters, his outlandishness has instead worked to assure some that he is “one of the people” and not some stiff politician they can’t trust.

We decided to mark Trump’s recent victory in the Super Tuesday primaries by reminding you of some of his most outlandish and inappropriate comments made during his 2016 run for president.

5. “Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.”

Trump made this statement at a rally in Charleston, South Carolina, after it was suggested that he would be ill-prepared to deal with terrorists.

4. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists and some, I assume, are good people, but I speak to border guards and they’re telling us what we’re getting.”

This quote was taken from one of Trump’s first speeches announcing his candidacy for president in June 2015.

3.“When these people walk in the room, they don’t say, ‘Oh, hello! How’s the weather? It’s so beautiful outside. Isn’t it lovely? How are the Yankees doing? Oh they’re doing wonderful. Great.’ Asians say, ‘We want deal!’”

Trump made this statement about Asians at a Republican rally in Iowa in August 2015.

2. “Sorry, there is no STAR on the stage tonight!”

Trump tweeted this during a televised democratic debate in October 2015. Ironically this tweet sums up his angle in the presidential race.

1.”Look at those hands, are they small hands? And, he referred to my hands — ‘if they’re small, something else must be small.’ I guarantee you there’s no problem. I guarantee.”

If you are in disbelief that Trump would be addressing his penis size while addressing voters last week, be amazed, because it happened.

From Mexican immigrants being rapists to his penis size, there is no topic off limits with Trump. One thing is certain, there are sure to be more inappropriate comments coming from the guy who’s shaping up to be the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee.
