Congrats are in order for Ne-Yo and his wife, Crystal Renay.
The newlyweds welcomed a healthy baby boy on Tuesday, March 15. And while no further details were immediately available, Renay shared the first photo of the newborn via Snapchat, writing, “Prince SJ has arrived.”
Another snap has since been posted on The Shade Room, featuring new mom, Crystal, softly kissing her newborn on the forehead. Too cute. Although this is the couple’s first child together, Ne-Yo is already dad to five-year-old daughter Madilyn and four-year-old son Mason from his relationship with Monyetta Shaw.
In case you missed it, the “Do You” recording artist expressed his excitement over welcoming his third child into the world, taking to Instagram earlier this week, where he shared a beautiful pregnancy snap featuring Renay caressing her baby bump as the couple lay in each other’s arms. “I hear Miles Davis playin’ in the background,” he wrote beside the photo. “#Blessed”
Meanwhile, the couple announced their pregnancy and their engagement in August. Ne-Yo took to Twitter to publicize the big news, writing, “Clearing the air..@mscrystalrenay and I are ENGAGED to be married next year. And yes we are expecting. #FromTheHorsesMouth.”

As previously reported, the dynamic duo tied the knot in February at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, near Los Angeles. “We can’t wait to start our life together,” Ne-Yo told People at the time. “We’re looking forward to just being each others’ best friend.”
Prior to jumping the broom, Renay revealed that she’d found out she was expecting ahead of her first dress fitting. “I’m gonna be honest: I’m nine months pregnant – I’m nervous about falling on my face,” she said the day before the ceremony. “When I went to my first fitting, I had actually just found out the day before that I was pregnant, so from the beginning of the whole dress process, we knew that it would be a growing belly.”
