It appears that Lamar Odom may be back on the sauce.

The former NBA star, who is still on the road to recovery after months of medical treatment following a near-death episode, reportedly went out drinking with friends the night before going to Easter Sunday church services with the Kardashian clan.

People Magazine spoke with a source close to the Sherman Oaks, California bar called Johnny O’Brien’s that Odom is said to have visited with friends early Sunday morning where he had up to three Remy Martin drinks.

“Lamar came to the bar with four of his friends and they hung out at the bar for about an hour from 12 a.m–1 a.m.,” the source told People. “They ordered like four drinks and they were in great spirits. Lamar looked amazing and super healthy. He was super, super nice. It was great having him. He was saying hi to everybody – he was super, super friendly with everybody. He looked so healthy.”

Odom’s questionable night on the town comes just five months after he nearly died in a Las Vegas brothel after consuming a large amount of alcohol, cocaine, and sexual enhancement pills. The former Los Angeles Lakers standout was in a coma and had to be put on life support for a few days before he regained consciousness. His motor skills were initially impaired because he suffered several strokes and also dealt with kidney failure because of the ordeal.

By all accounts, Odom’s recovery from the near-fatal incident has been nothing short of amazing. The 6’10” star showed no signs of being hungover, as he attended Easter services with his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, and her family before heading to brunch and then an Easter egg hunt event at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West’s Bel-Air mansion.

This past January, Khloe revealed that Odom, who has had substance abuse issues in the past, was dealing with short-term memory loss as a result of his coma.

With the uphill battle that he is still facing, we have to believe his apparent return to alcohol can’t be in his best interest at the moment.
