Rihanna dives into the beauty biz, inking an estimated $10 million deal with LVMH Moet Hennessy, Louis Vuitton’s Kendo division to create her very own make-up line.

“Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience,” David Suliteanu, CEO of Kendo, the division behind Kat Von D Beauty and Marc Jacobs Beauty, told WWD. “We are aiming for the stars.”

While no further details have been teased just yet, the line, titled Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, will likely be another chart-topper for the “Work” singer. For those unfamiliar with LVMH, they are an enormous luxury conglomerate that includes luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Céline, Marc Jacobs, Kenzo and Givenchy. In other words, this is a big deal.

Of course, Ri’s makeup line is just another extension of her ever expanding fashion and beauty empire. In 2013, the highly coveted RiRi Woo lipstick from her Riri Hearts MAC collection sold out in just three hours. Then in 2015, the Barbadian beauty raised a whopping $46K for RiRi, one of her seven successful fragrances, during a promo appearance in Brooklyn.

Most recently, the bad gal revealed that she had reached a multi-year deal with popular German sportswear company Puma. “On the dotted line. #PUMA” she wrote via Instagram on December 15, 2014. Since the announcement, RiRi has dropped two Fenty by Rihanna sneakers. Let’s not forget, the “Diamonds” singer also dominated New York Fashion Week earlier this year, where she unveiled her latest collaboration with Puma, a line of edgy, ready to wear apparel, at 23 Wall Street – marking her first major clothing collection since becoming the brand’s latest frontwoman.

Needless to say, this is a win for both Rihanna and LVMH. Not only has RiRi proven she can sell just about anything, but the deal solidifies both party’s iconic status in the industry. Fenty Beauty by Rihanna will launch in fall 2017. Will you be buying? Sound off in the comment section below.
