Birdman showed up and out a couple weeks ago at the Breakfast Club during what had to be the shortest interview ever. It was so humorous, it lightened the mood following the news of Prince’s untimely death.

Live from his Miami mansion, he met with HOT 97’s “Ebro In the Morning Show,” on Monday, May 2, 2016 he addressed some longstanding rumors that sparked the laugh-out-loud reaction and angst toward Angela Yee, Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy.

Here are some of the highlights.

As for him demanding “respek” on his name recently – “I was coming to New York anyways because I was shooting my music mogul,” he said. “And I felt like it was time to go sit down and see this man. I think for a few years he been just slandering my name, just playing with my name and not respecting me as a man. It was deeper than music to me. So I just wanted to go up there and see what was happening man. Put some respect on my name…”

There have also been many rumors about his business antics with Cash Money, more recently his outstanding lawsuit with Lil Wayne. He also addressed that – “I really don’t try to get caught up into what a person feel about it or what people think about me because life still goes on. I lost a lot at a young age, so how a mother f***er feel about me don’t move me. I still get up every morning go to work. I feed a lot of people in this game man. I did a lot for this game. For hip hop.”

He also addressed his thoughts on Drake’s latest album – “I think Drake got album of the year man,” he said. “Drake is the new phenomenon. He’s something special.”
