They say disaster always strikes when you least expect it and that was certainly the case for Blac Chyna this weekend because reports have revealed that the celeb’s home was robbed recently.
According to media reports, Chyna’s home in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angles was burglarized this weekend and the burglar took more than $200K in cash and jewelry from a safe in the home. Law enforcement sources say that Chyna’s fiancé, Rob Kardashian, is the one who discovered the robbery and called the police to the scene.
Sources say that there were no obvious signs of forced entry and that the burglar didn’t break into the safe to steal the cash and jewelry, which, of course, leads police to believe that someone close to Chyna committed the crime.
Sources close to Chyna say that she’s convinced that the culprit must be a close friend because very few people even knew that she had a cash safe in her home.
Chyna is reportedly convinced that her burglar friend is jealous of the new life she’s leading with Rob. Chyna allegedly believes that the friend is not only jealous but fed up with her because she no longer lives a party lifestyle. Now instead of partying regularly, Chyna has been focused on being sober for the past several months, choosing to cut out both drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes. And her healthier lifestyle makes sense considering that she’s spent months helping Rob lose weight and stay sober.
Besides her lifestyle, Chyna also allegedly believes that the friend is jealous of the huge $325,000 7-carat diamond engagement ring that Rob gave her last month.
Sources also claim that another reason Chyna’s safe was robbed is because of the recent news that a sex tape made by Chyna and her ex-fiancé, Tyga, is being shopped around to media outlets and porn companies. Law enforcement sources say that the burglar may have robbed the safe because he or she was looking for a hard copy of the sex tape.
At this point, it’s not fully clear what the burglar’s motives were beyond stealing some major cash from Chyna, but perhaps police will uncover a motive during the course of the investigation.
