Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson had one of the nastier breakups last year when they split after only a month of marriage. Since then, they’ve spent several months battling each other in court over their divorce. And even though it seemed like both Griner and Johnson were heartbroken over the split, it looks like Johnson has finally moved on with a new romance. But you’ll never guess who she’s rebounded with.
As previously reported, Griner decided to try and annul her marriage to Johnson after only 28 days, claiming that she knew beforehand that she shouldn’t get married, but that Johnson pushed her to get married, even though they had both been arrested just weeks before at their Arizona home over a physical altercation between them.
Although Griner’s request for an annulment was denied, the drama continued because right before the split, Johnson announced that she was pregnant with twins, Ava Simone and Solei Diem, thanks to donor sperm. However, after the split, Johnson claimed that she had no biological connection to the babies and that she was not financially responsible for them either.
However, back in April the exes settled on Griner, who reportedly earns $1.1 million a year, having to pay Johnson $2,516 in child support a month. Griner also agreed to be responsible for 90 percent of the twins’ medical expenses, or pay an extra $2,835 a month for two nannies.
Since then, we’ve heard little about the former pair in the news and many assumed that Johnson was simply focused on caring for her new infant babies. However, new media reports have revealed that Johnson is, surprisingly, back to dating men and that she’s allegedly been in a relationship with a 30-year-old Texas man named Christopher Fry for some time and that the relationship has been confirmed by his parents.
Sources say that Fry is from Seymour, Tennessee, which is close to Johnson’s family home in Knoxville, Tennessee. However, Fry has reportedly been staying with Johnson in Dallas where she plays for the Dallas Wings.
