It was the birth heard throughout the social-sphere.
Though we haven’t heard much from actress Lauren London over the last year — as we assumed she was somewhere in Tinseltown enjoying motherhood — what we didn’t see coming was a surprise baby. So, when “The Game” alum took to Instagram to announce the birth of a “healthy happy baby boy,” social media set it off.
“And then came You. Last week I gave birth to a beautiful healthy happy baby boy . Blessed. #motheroftwo #GodisGood #QueenLowkey ??,” London wrote via Instagram, alongside an adorable snap featuring her son holding on to her manicured finger.
While London didn’t disclose more information about her bundle of joy, according to boyfriend-rapper Nipsey Hussle (who shared an identical photo), the pair welcomed their son on August 31.
This is London’s second child, as she shares a 7-year-old son, Cameron, with rapper Lil Wayne. Meanwhile, Nipsey has a daughter, Emani, from a previous relationship.
Although the 31-year-old actress managed to keep her pregnancy under wraps, not too long ago, close friend and confidant T.I. casually suggested the couple had a baby onboard. During a live Facebook broadcast of his interview with Cleveland radio station Z1079 back in May, the “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” star responded to rumors that there’s an ATL 2 in the works.
“Aye man, we working on it presently,” said Tip. “We got a couple obstacles in our way man. Like, uhhh, my lil sis man. She about to have a baby. So we gone have to let her get that time out of her system and you know when she back in ‘New New’ shape we’ll be ready to roll.” When it was brought to his attention that he may have just spilled the beans, he simply chuckled. Well, it appears London, Hussle, and T.I. indeed got the last laugh.
