During this heated presidential election, many people have disagreed with family members about whether to support Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, and apparently, President Obama is no different. Donald Trump has announced that one of his special guests at tonight’s last debate in Las Vegas will be President Obama’s older half-brother, Malik Obama.

Malik Obama lives in Washington, D.C., and has stated in the past that he does not agree with the policies of his presidential brother. He stated in prior interviews that he intends to support Donald Trump. “He appeals to me and also I think that he is down to earth and he speaks from the heart and he is not trying to be politically correct. He’s just straightforward.” The older Obama has also stated that he has no problems with Trump’s controversial plan to ban Muslims from entering the country, stating in the past, “I’m a Muslim, of course, but you can’t have people going around just shooting people and killing people just in the name of Islam.”

The Obama brothers have been somewhat close in the past, with Malik serving as best man at the wedding of Barack and Michelle as well as visiting the White House. Trump will also be bringing more women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual impropriety to the debate to take the heat off his own admitted antics. The recent release of audio where Trump states that because of his celebrity status when it comes to women he could just “Grab them by the p—y” has had a negative impact on many voters. Although Trump is not running against Bill Clinton, his campaign has made an issue of his past infidelities against Hillary Clinton. This latest ploy further shows that Trump is not running a campaign of substance but rather one of personal character, which he seems to be losing.
