“She mines nooowww!” Future, 32, wrote on Snapchat. While this message does not mention Larsa Pippen, 43, it’s a huge coincidence that he’d write this message and leave his fans wondering if he’s the reason NBA legend Scottie Pippen, 51, filed for divorce in a Fort Lauderdale, Florida, court on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016. Scottie also demanded full custody of their four children: Sophia, Justin, Preston and Scottie Jr. And, he has asked the court to amend the prenuptial agreement. He doesn’t even want to pay Larsa alimony who reportedly learned of the filing on Thursday, Oct. 20. The couple wed in 1997.
The police were called to the couple’s Florida mansion on Oct. 1 and Oct. 4 allegedly for “domestic disturbances.” The home is up for sale.
It’s reported that Scottie is worth $50 million to date after earning $120 million during his career. He made a string of bad investments. Daily Mail reports, “He unsuccessfully sued his former law firm for mismanaging his money which led to the loss of around $27 million of Pippen’s money. He also allegedly spent wildly on planes and mansions.”
Following news of the divorce, Larsa issued a statement via US Weekly:
“After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage,” the statement said. “Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their four beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect. … She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family.”
Larsa has also told sources that Scottie is “no angel himself” and “told her he will spend his last dollar on making her life a living hell.”
Scottie wants to move his kids to Chicago where he works as a special adviser to the team’s president and COO.
