Stacey Dash has had her fair share of bad run-ins with other celebs over the past few years. But to everyone’s surprise, the famous Clueless star found herself throwing shade at Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Lawson, recently over an Instagram post.

According to reports, Lawson made a Halloween post on her Instagram page last week showing herself posing with Kelly Rowland, who was dressed as the character of Dionne from Clueless for a Halloween party.

Initially, Lawson captioned the photo with “This is my baby as Dione last night of course she is prettier and more smart than the one from the movie but I was confused cause she kept saying something about her pager.”

However, after some fan commented that Lawson was throwing shade at Dash, she deleted the original caption and explained that she meant no harm towards the actress. Instead, she explains that she was talking about the movie character.

“This is my baby as Dione last night  but I was confused cause she kept saying something about her pager lord no shade intended!!!! It was a character in a movie!!!!” wrote Lawson in the new caption.

Well, once Dash got wind of what happened on Lawson’s page, she was furious and proceeded to blast Lawson and her family with a post on her personal blog this weekend:

“Well, you never know what you are doing to wake up to, do you? This morning, I awakened to people telling me that Beyoncé’s mom was saying that I was ugly. Here’s the ‘controversy’ generated by Tina Lawson: If one thing runs in Queen Bey’s bloodline, it’s the ability to throw subtle shade and Tina demonstrated her acumen for the art of insult this Halloween, somehow managing to turn a cute costume into a caustic diss. Tina has managed to stay rather close with Kelly Rowland after all these post-Destiny’s Child years and the two apparently got together for Halloween, with Rowland dressed as Dione (the iconic character originally played by Stacey Dash in Clueless),” Dash wrote.

Dash continued, “First of all, if you’re trying to throw shade about someone’s intelligence, maybe use ‘smarter’ instead of ‘more smart’; Here’s the thing — Kelly Rowland is a beautiful girl and I love the costume! Imitation is the best form of flattery. Order my Book, There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative!”

Well, that clearly escalated. What do you think of this shade between these two women? Let us know in the comments.
