Former reality star Omarosa Manigault had made a surprise revelation. The “Apprentice” series celebrity and Trump supporter said that an excited President-elect Trump asked a startling question. According to Manigault, “I was literally just standing next to him on the stage and just bawling. I don’t remember a word he said. We were live on air. I just remember Mr. Trump saying to me, ‘Are you ready? Are you ready to come with me to Washington?!’ I was so proud of him. I got to see him before he left the war room. We all met in the freight elevator of the hotel. He was so not focused on himself. He got all his family business sorted. He addressed his supporters. He was still in Trump mode! Just a businessman in the private sector, rattling off a list of things that needed to get done that night.”
Manigault has starred in multiple reality TV series; she has received criticism from many in the Black community for her support of Trump. In past interviews, she has stated that Trump was like a father to her and she shared his criticism of the Black Lives Matter movement. While on “The Apprentice,” he revealed a vindictive side that she also displays in real life. Apparently, that will go a long way within a Trump administration, as she shared that the President-elect keeps an enemies list. During one interview she said, “Let me just tell you, Mr. Trump has a long memory and we’re keeping a list.”
President-elect Trump has not made any announcement about his transition team or cabinet posts. At this time, it is unclear what if any role Manigault will play in the new administration.
