Celebrities are not happy with Donald Trump’s anti-Muslim refugee ban.

In case you missed it, on Friday, Jan. 27, Trump signed an executive order banning more than 130 million people — consisting of seven Muslim-majority countries — from entering the United States. In other words, the new policy suspends the issuing of U.S. visas or travel permits to people from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen, for at least 90 days. Yes, that includes the countless women and children fleeing persecution, violence and war.

Conspicuously, multiple outlets report that Trump doesn’t hold any business interests in any of the countries listed, but holds major stakes in several of those excluded.

Oddly enough, according to a report titled “Terrorism and Immigration, A Risk Report,” not a single U.S. citizen was killed on U.S. soil by citizens from any of the banned countries between 1975 and 2015, reports the conservative-leaning Cato Institute. However, the report indicates statistics that nearly 3K Americans were killed by citizens from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt in the same time period — with the bulk being victims of the 9/11 attacks. Yet, people from those countries are still welcome to apply for U.S. visas and travel permits, the Daily News reports.

Adding to the suspicion, it appears that Trump recently registered eight companies tied to a potential hotel project in Saudi Arabia shortly after launching his campaign in August 2015, the Washington Post reported at the time, which begs the question, what actually went into the decision process behind his order?

Not to our surprise, shortly after news of Trump’s heartless motion broke, a number of A-list celebrities took to Twitter to express their opinions as well as urging those gathered at airports across the country to “resist.”

Singer Sia used her platform to draw awareness and funds supporting the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU): “Help our queer & immigrant friends,” she tweeted. “Send me your donation receipts for the @aclu & I will match up to $100K … #RESIST”

Meanwhile, director Ava Duvernay shared quotes from the acceptance speech Farhadi delivered in 2012 when he won an Oscar for A Separation. “Amplifying words of one of my favorite filmmakers, Asghar Farhadi, who like too many others will be turned away from the Land of the Free,” she captioned a brief excerpt post.
