WGN’s “Underground” cast members Jurnee Smollett-Bell (“Rosalee”), Amirah Vann (“Ernestine”), Aldis Hodge (“Noah”), and Aisha Hinds (“Harriet Tubman”) spoke with rolling out recently at Clark Atlanta University, following a panel discussion with the cast moderated by Dr. Daniel Black, CAU professor of African American Studies.

“Underground” centers on a group of slaves planning a daring 600-mile escape from a Georgia plantation. Along the way, they are aided by a secret abolitionist couple running a station on the Underground Railroad as they attempt to evade the people charged with bringing them back, dead or alive.

In this video, the cast shares insights on their spirituality as it relates to how they eat, pray and love.

Season 2 of WGN America’s hit series UNDERGROUND, premiering tonight, Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
