The Big Baller Brand is expanding again. On June 26, UCLA-commit LaMelo Ball and new Laker Lonzo Ball joined arguably the biggest star of the family, Lavar Ball on WWE’s “Monday Night Raw.” The trio joins the 45th president, Rev. Al Sharpton, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal and Dr. Phil as celebrity hosts as guests in WWE history.

Lavar entered the arena with his signature, gif-worthy walk before going into a cartoonish sprint into the ring. The ring was full of mannequins rocking Big Baller Brand merchandise. Basketball’s most famous father then introduced Lonzo and talked his signature big talk, including boasting about his notorious one-on-one skills.

“There’s only two dudes better than me — and I’m both of ’em!” Lavar said, shouting into the mic at Staples Center.

After WWE star The Miz went back-and-forth with Lavar, The Miz then proceed to take his shirt off. However, Lavar didn’t back down from the challenge, as he proceeded to take off his shirt too and started bouncing off of the ring’s ropes.

“Beat that n—- a–! Beat that n—- a–!” LaMelo said cheering on his dad in uncut fashion on live TV.

The 8 1/2 minute segment is the newest form of marketing for the Ball family and Big Baller Brand. For the past few months, Lavar found a way to constantly keep himself in the headlines and every time he was, the entrepreneur was promoting Big Baller Brand in the process. The WWE has over 33 million likes on Facebook and over nine million followers on Twitter. Although most L.A. natives in Staples Center were probably familar with Lavar and his family prior to June 26, the family and brand reached a much larger demographic of fans who don’t watch basketball. With a memorable segment like that one, wrestling fans are now exposed to the family brand and, of course, with more exposure, logically comes more business.
