Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff are officially back.

Of course, this is major news for both fans and the artists, who haven’t released any new music for nearly two decades — 19 years to be exact. In case you missed it, the musical duo debuted an EDM track, titled “Get Lit.” The electro-jam is the first to come from the pair since their 1998 release, “Lovely Daze.”

Best known for hits like “Summertime” and “Parents Just Don’t Understand,” the song was unveiled during the Livewire Festival 2017 at Blackpool’s Tower Headland Arena in England. According to multiple outlets, the duo also performed their classic hits, including “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit’ It,” “Men In Black,” “Miami,” “Girls Ain’t Nothing But Trouble,” and “Just the Two of Us.”

As previously reported, the two announced they had reunited and had something special in store for fans back in April. “First two shows are locked!! Y’all ready?” Smith, who goes by the rap name The Fresh Prince, captioned the post, while Jazzy wrote, “Yup … and THIS IS FINALLY HAPPENING!!! #JJFPReturn #vinyldestination.”

As for the inspiration behind their new single, NME reports that Smith told the crowd that the song was a reaction to the “chaos and confusion in the world.”

“I wanted to make a song that allowed people to let their light shine. We all have an inner light and sometimes this world,” the actor said on stage. “People can say stuff to you and tell you you can’t do and you know you can but when they tell you that it kinda knocks you down a bit right so I wanted to make a record that reminded each and every one of y’all to let your light shine,” he continued.

The Suicide Squad star continued, “Shine those lights, let me see those lights. We’re going to shine those lights, we’re going to brighten up the darkness in this world.”
