Iroc Daniels, and his son, Marquel Deljuan are making big moves in entertainment. The elder Daniels is releasing his movie, “The System” next year. The movie centers around an officer who shoots an unarmed African American deaf boy during a routine stop. To accompany the film, Daniels (who’s also a rapper-music producer) and Deljuan have teamed up to create the soundtrack for the movie. They’ve just released their first single, “Bills” which premiered on Hot 97 host Ebro Darden’s Beats 1 radio show, “Ebro’s Discovered.”
In a statement to rolling out, here’s what Deljuan said about the message behind his music:
“It’s about appealing to those you wouldn’t normally appeal to, and to bridge gaps by giving people what they want and what they need at the same time. I will get people who don’t listen or won’t listen, to listen and then to do something for the better.”
