Sharon Smith-Akinsanya, founder of the People of Color Career Fair stated that 80 percent of Minnesota’s growth stems from people of color. The POC career fair has partnered with 19 fortune 500 companies in Minneapolis with the intention to recruit, attract, and retain people of color.
